你好,
Welcome.
My name is Alan, and I’m a seasoned and passionate hardware and software developer – an engineer – a person who makes things, experiments, and explores. This blog is a personal space.
Why kaitak?
I wanted a domain that meant something to me but something I could use for other things if I wanted to. I wanted a short domain (not so easy nowadays), and this one is a little of me. I was born on Hong Kong island, and Kai Tak was its airport, and a dramatic one for pilots with the city approach and runway out to sea! It was once the world’s 3rd busiest passenger airport and busiest freight airport but it closed in 1998. Now there is nothing left to see of the old airport apart from old photographs.

So this is my website, and it will be for as long as I’m able to keep breathing!
